Karan Johar welcomed his son Yash and daughter Roohi via surrogacy in 2017. The filmmaker was seen in the first episode of second season of the show, which is streaming on Netflix, with Jigra actors Alia Bhatt, Vedang Raina and director Vasan Bala.

In a new podcast on We Are Yuvaa, the filmmaker confessed that the actor became his go-to person whenever he wanted to discuss any issues or struggles related to his sexuality.
