Wisdom teeth erupt in the very back of your mouth, just behind your second molars. People who have all four wisdom teeth have one in each quadrant — upper left, lower left, upper right and lower right.
The normal person will have four (or fewer) wisdom teeth.
These extra wisdom teeth are referred to as “supernumerary” teeth. In my work seeing thousands of patients I personally I have seen quite a few patients that have DOUBLE wisdom teeth.
So, wisdom tooth removal does it hurt? During the procedure, you should feel no pain and barely any (if at all) discomfort. After the procedure, the extraction site may feel a little tender for several days but with a little rest and recuperation, you should be back to normal within 7 days.

You do not necessarily have to be put to sleep for all 4 wisdom teeth removal. All 4 wisdom teeth can be safely and painlessly removed while the patient is fully awake with the mouth Numbed with local anesthesia.
Some folks have all four, and some have none at all. Most often, adults have four wisdom teeth, one in each quadrant of the mouth, but in some rare cases, people even have more than four. In the case of Hyperdontia, the human mouth can host supernumerary teeth, or teeth that exist in addition to the regular line up.
So, Will Wisdom Tooth Surgery Affect Facial Shape? In short, no, at least not for the long term. Even though removing large teeth can sometimes come along with slight changes to the shape of your face, the same does not usually apply to wisdom teeth.
Impacted Wisdom Teeth

After surgery to remove a wisdom tooth, it may take seven to ten days for the swelling to go down and two weeks to recover fully. Caring for the wound — for instance by using a rinse from 24 hours after surgery — may help it heal and speed up recovery.
Typically, you should be able to speak within a few hours once the numbness subsides. However, it's essential to avoid straining your mouth or jaw, which means keeping conversations brief and speaking softly. Remember, your body needs to heal, and rest is a crucial part of that process.
