Personal life. Torres and Laurence Fishburne were engaged in February 2001, and married on September 22, 2002, at The Cloisters museum in New York City. They have a daughter together. Torres was also the stepmother to Fishburne's two children from his previous marriage to actress Hajna O. Moss.
Laurence Fishburne was not asked to reprise his role as Morpheus in The Matrix: Resurrections primarily due to creative decisions made by the film's director, Lana Wachowski.
